چکیده

The temperature dependence of core loss in cobalt substituted Ni-Zn-Cu ferrites was investigated. Co ions are known to lead to a compensation of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy in Ni-Zn ferrites, at a temperature depending on the cobalt content and the Ni / Zn ratio. We observed similar behaviour in Ni-Zn-Cu and it was found that the core loss goes through a minimum around this magneto-crystalline anisotropy compensation. Moreover, the anisotropy induced by the cobalt allowed a strong decrease of core loss, a ferrite having a core loss of 350 mW/cm at 80°C was then developed (measured at 1.5 MHz and 25 mT). This result represents an improvement of a factor 4 compared to the state of art Ni-Zn ferrites.

Integration of Ni-Cu-Zn and Hexagonal Ferrites into LTCC Modules: Cofiring Strategies and Magnetic Properties

We have studied the integration of Ni-Cu-Zn ferrite spinels as well as substituted hexagonal Co2Y-and M-type ferrites into LTCC (Low Temperature Ceramic Co-firing) modules. The cofiring behavior and the magnetic properties of these materials were investigated and evaluated for multilayer applications. Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites exhibit permeabilities of μ = 300 – 500 for operating frequencies in the MHz...

An Investigation on Synthesis and Magnetic Properties of Manganese Doped Cobalt Ferrite Silica Core-Shell Nanoparticles for Possible Biological Application

In this work, we investigated synthesis, magnetic properties of silica coated metal ferrite, (CoFe2O4)/SiO2 and Manganese doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles (MnxCo1-xFe2O4 with x= 0.02, 0.04 and 0.06)/SiO2 for possible biomedical application. All the ferrites nanoparticles were prepared by co-precipitation method using FeCl3.6H2O, CoCl2.6H2O and MnCl2.2H2O as precursors, and were silica coated ...
